Significant improvements in the research, the crucial discoveries and their more effective disclosure have made possible to emphasize and to deepen the role that Celtic culture had in the evolution of Europe.
Still little known and deepened, however, is the role that the Celts had not only in the foundation but also in the total history of our city.
For ninth edition we have chosen to tell another Milan, starting with a circle of conferences which, through the various fields of knowledge – from archaeology to linguistic, from numismatic to archaeoastronomy – offers an insight of the characteristics of Celtic settlements in Milan and Lombardia, trying to delineate in particular – in this edition – the spiritual world, the conception of the universe and of human destiny, and to close it down with a big international conference that summarising the multiple hints in the overall picture as exhaustive as possible on a theme among the most fascinating, but also among the most complex and evasive in its reconstruction.
